The wrap drawings became a focus for my work for some time. These are important works for me in being able to translate my love of line, color, and form while providing some unique texture from the velour paper I used. Here, my process was to use a single line and wrap it through a calculated series of patterned loops moving from one part of the drawing to the next. I used soft pastel in a detailed obsessive fashion almost like a meditation.
