The Harmony works are about the intrinsic beauty coming from order and balance co-existing together. I was inspired to make these pieces off of the color swatches I use when making a painting. I was searching for a color one day and had the swatches laid out on a table and I thought they all really worked together, in harmony. These are also a bit of a homage to Elsworth Kelly and Agnes Martin for their sense of order and balance and how very beautiful these can be co-existing together.
